Uses
AIM #830 Edge Seal is a low modulus, butyl rubber based, self-leveling sealant. It is intended for use as a lap edge sealant and water cut off mastic on single-ply roofs including EPDM and TPO. AIM #830 is also useful anywhere a low modulus sealant is desired such as in OEM trailer and RV applications. Not for use as a single-ply roofing adhesive or lap adhesive. For topical application only.
AIM #830 is based on butyl rubber in a fast drying, HAP free solvent system.

Application
Surface to be sealed must be dry and free of dirt or loose corrosion particles. Apply to the area as desired. The applied bead will self-level to two to three times the diameter of the applied bead. Tooling is not normally necessary.
