Uses
AIM #340 Flashing Cement is a Premium Grade trowel-applied Flashing Cement used to install, repair or rebuild roof flashings at parapet walls, gravel stops, stacks, vents, monitors and similar applications. AIM #340 Flashing Cement may be used with fiberglass, polyester fabrics or roll roofing for permanent repairs.
Description
AIM #340 Flashing Cement is manufactured from reined asphalt, petroleum solvents and non-asbestos reinforcing fibers. It applies fast and smooth, breaks cleanly off the trowel without stringing, yet stays in place, even when hot-mopped. No asbestos, slate flour, limestone dust or other extenders are used.

Application
The surface to be repaired must be clean, dry and free of debris. Apply AIM #340 Flashing Cement evenly with a pointed roofer’s trowel or gloved hand. AIM #340 Flashing Cement should be applied 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch thick and may be reinforced with glass membrane or polyester fabric to strengthen the repair. When making a permanent repair to a blister, open up the area and allow it to dry thoroughly.
Clean up with mineral spirits or waterless hand cleaner. Use care when handling solvents.
