Uses
AIM #860 UC is used to seal seams, flashings and penetrations on all types of roofs. Ideal for residential roofing applications where appearance is important. For gutter applications AIM #820 Gutter Seal is recommended.
Description
AIM #860 UC Ultraclear Sealant is an optically clear, high-performance, multipurpose thermoplastic elastomer based sealant. This product provides excellent adhesion to most surfaces including: metal, Kynar®, asphalt, shingles, modified bitumen, EPDM, TPO, Elvaloy/PVC, Hypalon, vinyl, fiber cement, wood, concrete, tile, masonry, glass. AIM #860 UC is available in clear only.

Application
Surface to be sealed must be clean. Do not apply to surfaces that are dusty or chalky. If necessary, clean surface with mineral spirits or other solvent based material. Allow cleaner to dry before applying AIM #860 UC. To use, cut tip to size and puncture seal. Maximum recommended joint width is 3/8 inch. Use backer rod for deep joints. May be painted. Some paints may require up to one week cure time before application of paint. For outdoor use only. Keep unopened container warm prior to use.
