AIM #925 Emulsion Driveway Depression Filler – Trowel Grade is a heavy-bodied sealant formulated to remain strong and flexible when properly applied to a driveway surface. AIM #925 is fortified with mineral fillers to add reinforcement. It blends with the blacktop surface to prevent water seepage and the damage that can be caused by erosion, as well as freeze/thaw cycles. Driveway repair dramatically increases the life of the asphalt surface. Once cured, AIM #925 may be top-coated with either Coal Tar or Asphalt-based driveway sealers.

PREPARATION: Remove all dust, dirt, debris and loose particles with a stiff brush or broom. If air pressure is available, blow cracks clean and dry. Do not apply when rain is forecasted or when the ambient air temperature is expected to fall below 50°F (10°C) within 48 hours.

APPLICATION: Do not thin. Use AIM #925 directly as supplied. Press AIM #925 directly into cracks using a putty knife or squeegee. Use firm pressure to ensure all voids are sealed. Using a putty knife, the finished surface may be smooth. AIM #925 will cure to a resilient black sealant in 24-48 hours.

TIPS: For best results, cracks deeper than 1/2″ should be sealed in two layers, allowing 24 hours between applications. If possible, keep traffic off the repair area during the curing period. If immediate use is required, fill the crack to 1/4″ from the top surface and lightly cover AIM #925 with sand. This will prevent tracking. Clean the wet coating with soap and water. The dry coating may be removed with mineral spirits. Use care when handling solvents.
