AIM #740 is a high-performance elastic cement sealing and patching compound. AIM #740 is especially developed to seal cracks, detail areas, and surface imperfections. Provides superior adhesion and flexibility. AIM #740 is weather resistant and withstands extreme elongation.

For exterior use only. Mix in any separated material prior to using. Apply on warm, sunny day preferably in the morning to provide maximum cure time. Apply only at temperatures above 40ºF and rising with less than 90% humidity and no threat of rain for 48 hours. Surface temperatures should be under 100ºF to avoid premature curing. If roof surface is hot, apply a light water spray to reduce its temperature. AIM #740 must be applied to a dry surface. AIM #740 should be applied in the Three Course Installation Method using a paintbrush, or trowel. Apply first coat at a thickness of 1/8-1/4 inch (3.2mm-6.4mm). While first coat is still wet, place polyester fabric and brush to remove air pockets and wrinkles. Second layer should be applied immediately at a thickness of 1/8-1/4 inch (3.2mm-6.4mm). If needed, trowel AIM #740 over cracks in concrete, masonry, and wood. Additional applications may be necessary, as elastic cement shrinks through drying. Drying time until application of roof coating is 4 to 8 hours @ 70ºF.
